The club was formed in the millennium year with chartered number as 54811 on Dt.27.12.2000 with Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Samantaray and Er. Subodh Kumar Routray as chartered President and Secretary respectively taking twenty nine chartered members from the east part of the Cuttack city while PDG Gopal Chandra Kar was the Governor of the then Rotary district 3260. The club was first started in the residence of Dr. Arpita Priyadarshini at Mahanadivihar, Cuttack by the sponsoring club Rotary club of Cuttack Silver City with GSR as Dr. Rajani kanta Satapathy which was latter shifted to Hotel Ashoka, College square, Cuttack in the same year with meeting date on every wednesday at 7.30 pm.
